The lengths of Hamilton's and Leclerc's contracts have been revealed.
The British edition of BBC Sport reported on the lengths of Lewis Hamilton's and Charles Leclerc's contracts with the Ferrari team.
"Ferrari do not disclose the lengths of contracts with drivers, but I've long heard that Hamilton has a three-year agreement, i.e. until the end of 2027," writes BBC Sport journalist Andrew Benson. "Lewis's interaction with the press in Brazil seems to confirm this information.
Lewis was asked when he will begin negotiations for a new contract, and he replied: 'I have a fairly long contract. Usually negotiations for a new one begin a year before the current one expires. I'm far from those thoughts right now.'
Then Lewis was asked whether his words mean that he will start negotiations next year, and he replied: 'No.'
Ferrari do not disclose the duration of the contract with Leclerc, but say that the agreement runs until 2029. Of course, the terms may include options that would allow an earlier exit."
