Cadillac has begun testing in Imola.

The Cadillac F1 team began a two-day test in Imola today using a Ferrari-rented SF-23 in neutral livery. Sergio Pérez was behind the wheel. The purpose of the tests is not lap times but to evaluate technical solutions for the next season. This week the team wants to fine-tune the work of engineers and mechanics at the circuit so that each staff member knows exactly the scope of their responsibilities and who they will need to interact with in the pits during tests and races. The team plans to practice all procedures related to servicing the car by running a simulated race weekend.
