Charles Leclerc: "I'm very happy, although not surprised at all. It was discussed within the team, but now we have an official statement. Stability is very important. In Formula 1, it takes time to build something. It's very good that Fred will remain in charge.
Fred has incredible vision. With him, Ferrari is moving in the right direction. We are confidently progressing; now our car is nearly the second-fastest everywhere, although Hungary is definitely the worst circuit for us on the calendar.
The challenge at Ferrari is that emotions are part of everyday work. Italians are incredibly passionate about Ferrari, but Fred knows how to keep his emotions in check. He is capable of getting the best out of every team member, which is really important.
I am satisfied with my performances this year, although there were some unlucky weekends, like in Silverstone. Of course, I want to win, and we are confidently moving toward that."
