Franco Colapinto: I don't feel confident in the car.

      In seven races with Alpine, Franco Colapinto scored no points. Speaking to journalists at the Hungaroring, the Argentine driver explained the lack of results by saying he does not feel confident in the car and as a result loses speed in corners.

      "We still haven't been able to do everything perfectly," Franco said in Hungary. "There are moments when we make a slight mistake, and that partly ruins our race weekend. I still haven't had a single weekend where I felt that we did everything perfectly or maximized the car or the situation on the track. That's why I continue to work with the team to improve."

      "From the very beginning, I said that I don't feel confident in the car, and because of that, I can't properly navigate certain types of corners. I have trouble entering the turns and 'filling' the corners with the car. And that also doesn't boost my confidence."

      Last year, I didn't have such problems. Just getting behind the wheel, I immediately felt confident and drove fast. Now, I have problems with that. That’s the reality.
