Fernando Alonso (10º): «Saliendo décimo, terminé en la misma posición, sumando al final un punto. La velocidad del coche no permitía lograr más, y parece que en la clasificación fue algo más eficaz que en la carrera.
Para mí el día no fue de los más interesantes; estábamos abiertos a diferentes opciones de estrategia, pero al final la carrera se desarrolló con una sola parada en boxes. La próxima semana seguiremos la lucha en México — veremos si allí podemos pelear por puntos».

Lance Stroll (12º): «La carrera fue interesante. Atacé, recuperé varias posiciones y estuve cerca de conseguir puntos, pero con mi posición de salida era difícil lograrlo, aunque hice todo lo posible.
El coche se comportó bien; el cambio en la dirección del viento nos ayudó. Tras un sábado complicado, el domingo fue bastante positivo, y ahora esperamos con impaciencia la carrera en México».
