Former Formula 1 driver and 24 Hours of Le Mans winner Derek Warwick has been invited by the FIA to serve as the third steward for the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix.
Alongside him, contentious incidents will be reviewed by FIA World Council member Australian Harry Connolly and Belgian Mathieu Remmerie, who serves as a steward at Formula 2, Formula 3 and Formula E races.
In 2025 the guest stewards were: Enrique Bernoldi in Australia, Saudi Arabia, Canada, Azerbaijan and Austin; Pedro Lamy in China, Japan, the Netherlands, Mexico City and São Paulo; Vitantonio Liuzzi in Bahrain, Imola, Monaco, Barcelona, Silverstone, Spa and Las Vegas; and Derek Warwick in Miami, Austria, Hungary, Italy, Singapore and Qatar.
