Next season Arvid Lindblad will make his Formula 1 debut. The British driver will replace Isack Hadjar in the Racing Bulls lineup, who has been promoted to Red Bull Racing.
Lindblad has already sat behind the wheel of a Formula 1 car this season during race weekends. Arvid took part in the first practice sessions at the British Grand Prix and the Mexico City Grand Prix, replacing Yuki Tsunoda and Max Verstappen respectively.
Both times Lindblad's car carried the number 36, however in his debut season he will race under a different number. Racing Bulls' press office confirmed that Arvid chose number 41. The British driver will likely explain in the future what inspired that choice.
