A Williams fan zone will open in Austin.
As part of the Atlassian Williams Racing Fan Zone world tour, a fan zone will open on October 13 in downtown Austin, where fans will be able to meet team representatives, learn about its history, try out simulators and win prizes.
On different days leading up to the Grand Prix, driver Alex Albon, team principal James Vowles and 2009 world champion Jenson Button will make appearances.
At the fan zone visitors will be able to get a close look at the FW47 show car, faithfully reproducing in every detail a real Formula 1 car — and then compare it with last year’s car model, built full-size from more than 400,000 Lego bricks.
