Toto Wolff: Valtteri will deservedly return to the grid

Recently it became known that Mercedes reserve driver Valtteri Bottas will continue his career with Cadillac next season. In Zandvoort, team principal Toto Wolff commented on his driver's career move.

Toto Wolff: "It's great to see that Valtteri will return to the Formula 1 grid next year. He can still achieve a lot as a full-time race driver and deserves to be on the grid in Melbourne in 2026.

Of course, we are sad to let him go. He has played an important role in the team, and his work as the third driver this year has been impeccable.

For now we will continue to work together until the end of the season, and then we will wish him all the best."
