Lewis Hamilton: You have to keep going, even if it's hard.

Lewis Hamilton spent the final part of his summer holiday somewhere on warm seas aboard a yacht, although he didn’t stop training — after all, there are only a few days left until the Dutch Grand Prix.

But judging by the Ferrari driver’s remark on social media today, the break was very much needed, and in those three weeks he had time to think about a lot.

Lewis Hamilton: “I’m always very grateful when this period begins, because it gives me a chance to rest and recover. And I’ve been reflecting on many things. Each of us has a lot to overcome — both on a personal level and in a global sense. It’s very important to embrace the light of truth and love, to take care of oneself, and then we will be better able to take care of others. We mustn’t look away. We have to keep going, even when it’s hard.”

Everyone knows that the seven-time world champion has had a rough time this season since he became a Scuderia driver. All sorts of attempts are being made to predict how events will unfold; some believe Lewis and the team can turn the tide, others’ forecasts are clearly less optimistic, but none of that is the most important thing.

What matters is what he himself thinks, and his words, addressed primarily to the fans, say a lot. And to show everyone what his mindset is, Lewis a couple of days ago shared several photos of his training, and the caption was: “No days off.”
