Herbert: Ferrari can't rely on Hamilton.

      Former Formula 1 driver Johnny Herbert doubts that Lewis Hamilton still has the speed he demonstrated in previous years. Herbert suggested that Ferrari cannot rely on the seven-time world champion.

      "It looks like Lewis Hamilton really looks lost,– Johnny Herbert said. – I do not know if he still has the pure speed that he has shown all the time over the years of his career. I thought that because of his racing skills, Lewis was able to get around any problems with the car, but apparently he's stuck in place right now. It's not very pleasant to see.

      However, this is not the first time that we have seen something like this in sports. Nigel Mansell won the title in 1992, moved to America in 1993, returned to Formula 1 in 1994, and it didn't work out.

      The same thing happened with Michael Schumacher. When he returned to Formula 1 after a break, he was no longer the same Schumacher as before. A racer always has a peak in his career, but one day he passes, and it's unpleasant to see. I know Charles Leclair is unhappy with the car, but at least he's consistently finishing on the podium.

      It seems that Hamilton just can't get everything out of the car when he really needs it. He doesn't understand why he can't do it, because he feels like he should be doing it. But Leclair goes much faster in the same car.

      Leclair will only improve, and the future of Ferrari belongs to him. Charles is the guy the team can rely on. Ferrari cannot rely on Hamilton. It's a terrible thing to say, but that's the truth."
