Lando Norris: My dream has come true!

      Lando Norris won the Monaco Grand Prix, which he was very happy about and said that his long-held dream had come true. Oscar Piastri, who finished third, assessed the result more cautiously, but overall he is also satisfied.

      Lando Norris (1st): "The mood is great! It was a long and exhausting race, but we had fun! We were able to attack almost the entire length of the race, although we had to be a little nervous in the last quarter of the race when Charles Leclair was riding close behind me and Max Verstappen was in front, but we won in Monaco! I guess how they won is not so important anymore.

      It's been a great weekend, because I've really dreamed of winning on this track since I was a kid, so that dream has already come true. It was the worst at the end: although I felt that I was in control of the race, Max began to slow down a little, and I realized that Charles had the opportunity to attack.

      I tried to let Max go a little bit, so that later, at the right moment, I could add more. In general, I think we had a good race, I'm very happy, our team is also happy, so tonight promises to be just wonderful!"

      Oscar Piastri (3rd): "Of course, it would have been better if I had won, but it was a difficult weekend, starting with from training sessions that didn't go well, and it seemed to me that I hadn't gained the necessary confidence by qualifying.

      We lost quite a bit, but still we weren't fast enough. Overall, I am pleased with the result, although it is clear that we need to learn certain lessons and take this experience into account when we come here in a year. But today we scored points and got back on the podium in Monaco, so it's not that bad.

      If this was not our best weekend, it ended well, and now we will prepare for the next stage of the season in order to achieve a better result in Barcelona. In the meantime, congratulations to Lando and also to Charles, because both, as usual, were very fast."
